Bollywood actress Tamannaah Bhatia has addressed the long-standing rumours linking her to former Pakistani cricketer Abdul Razzaq. The rumours, which have circulated for years, stemmed from a viral photo of the two together at a jewellery store.
Many speculated that they were secretly married, a claim that Tamannaah now dismisses as “one of the most ridiculous things” she has ever heard.
The rumours began after a picture surfaced online showing Tamannaah Bhatia and Abdul Razzaq at an event for a jewellery store launch.
Social media quickly exploded with wild claims, with some users suggesting that the two were secretly dating or even married. The image went viral, further fuelling the speculation.
Tamannaah, however, recently set the record straight with wit and humour. During an appearance on a talk show, she laughed off the claims.
She joked, “According to the internet, I was married to Abdul Razzaq. Just kidding, Abdul Razzaq!” She then directly addressed the cricketer, saying, “Excuse me sir, you have two or three children,” clearing any confusion about their relationship.
The Baahubali actress explained that the only connection between them was their appearance at the jewellery store launch. “We both were attending the launch of a jewellery store.
That’s where the picture was taken. There’s no personal connection between us,” she clarified, adding that such unfounded stories can sometimes be both frustrating and amusing.
This is not the first time Tamannaah has been the subject of relationship rumours. Back in 2010, a photo of her with Indian cricketer Virat Kohli from a commercial shoot led to false assumptions about their relationship.
Tamannaah quickly dismissed those claims, stating that they only met during the shoot and never communicated afterward.
In contrast to the baseless rumours, Tamannaah’s relationship with actor Vijay Varma was confirmed when the two were spotted together at a 2023 New Year’s party.
However, the couple reportedly parted ways earlier this year, with sources indicating a quiet end to their relationship, though no official statement was made.
Through all the rumours, Tamannaah Bhatia has maintained her focus on her career and remains a beloved figure in Bollywood.
