The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has decided to bar national cricketers from attending their colleague Haris Rauf’s wedding in Islamabad.
The cricket board officials cited unfavourable weather conditions in the region and a lack of planes as the key reasons for this unexpected change.

Given the uncertain nature of weather patterns and the limited travel alternatives available, the PCB was concerned about players’ ability to return to Karachi on time.
Certain players were scheduled to go to Islamabad today to attend the wedding festivities before returning to Karachi on Saturday afternoon.
However, due to weather patterns and logistical issues, the cricket board’s management had to intervene and prevent the players from making the trip.
This announcement disappoints both the players and the supporters who were looking forward to seeing this wonderful occasion.
Recognising the significance of this moment for their comrade, the national team players agreed to send Haris Rauf their best wishes via recorded video message.
Meanwhile, the players’ ongoing training camp at the National Bank Cricket Arena in Karachi is slated to end today as they prepare for their next series in Colombo.
Pakistan is slated to depart for Colombo via Dubai tomorrow for a two-match Test series.
