An unusual event unfolded at the Islamabad District and Sessions Court when a man appears in place of an accused during a hearing.
The incident happened in the court of Additional District and Sessions Judge Jahangir Awan. According to details, Shahid Karim came to court pretending to be Bilal Khan, who was facing a case related to his pre-arrest bail plea.
During the proceedings, when the judge ordered the arrest of the accused, the man admitted that he was not Bilal Khan. Shahid Karim confessed that his friend had asked him to appear in court on his behalf. He also said Bilal Khan assured him that “nothing would happen.”
