PM Shehbaz Sharif’s Message on Eid Miladun Nabi

Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif shared a message on the occasion, highlighting the importance of the Prophet’s teachings. He said the birth of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) 1500 years ago in Makkah turned “darkness into light” by guiding humanity toward justice, mercy, equality, and unity.

This year has been declared the “Year of Mercy for All Worlds (PBUH)” following resolutions passed in the National Assembly and Senate. The Prime Minister emphasized that the Seerat of the Prophet (PBUH) provides guidance for governance, politics, justice, trade, and social values.

Quoting the Quran, he said: “In the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) you have the best model, for everyone who hopes in Allah and the Last Day.”

Shehbaz Sharif stressed that in today’s fast-changing world, it is vital to educate the youth about the life and teachings of the Prophet (PBUH). He encouraged using words and actions for goodness and peace while promoting morality, love, and brotherhood.

Call for Unity and Reform

The Prime Minister urged the nation to make Pakistan a practical reflection of the Prophet’s teachings. He emphasized rejecting prejudice, sectarianism, extremism, and hatred. Solutions to the country’s economic and social challenges lie in following the Seerat as the foundation of national character.

Reaffirming his commitment, he said: “Let us renew our pledge today to build Pakistan on the golden principles of Seerat-un-Nabi (PBUH). Policies should focus on equality, poverty eradication, and promotion of knowledge and research to make Pakistan a true Islamic welfare state.”

Eid Miladun Nabi celebrations continue across Pakistan, bringing communities together in devotion, charity, and remembrance of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
