Federal Minister for Communications Abdul Aleem Khan has congratulated the nation and the Muslim world on the occasion of 12 Rabi-ul-Awwal.
In his special message, Aleem Khan said the teachings of the Holy Prophet (ﷺ) serve as a guiding light for all humanity. He stressed that following the Prophet’s example is the only path to peace, harmony, and success in this world and the hereafter.
The minister highlighted the importance of spreading the Prophet’s message of love and brotherhood. He said that Muslims should renew their pledge to make the world a place of peace and compassion.
He also urged citizens to remember the families of flood victims in their prayers, emphasizing that unity and care for others are key values of Islam.
Tribute to Armed Forces on Defense Day
In addition to his Rabi-ul-Awwal message, Aleem Khan paid tribute to Pakistan’s armed forces on Defense Day. He described September 6, 1965, as a symbol of bravery, sacrifice, and resilience for the entire nation.
The minister praised the sacrifices of the armed forces, noting that they defended the homeland with unmatched courage. He lauded Chief of Army Staff General Asim Munir for his decisive leadership, which he said has written a new chapter in Pakistan’s history.
Aleem Khan also pointed out the success of Operation Banyan Marsus, saying it reflects the Pakistan Army’s strength and strategic capabilities. He reaffirmed that the people of Pakistan stand united with the armed forces for the country’s sovereignty and stability.
The minister further noted the army’s contributions in helping citizens during crises, including their efforts in supporting flood victims. He said that the military continues to serve the nation with dedication both in war and peace.
