Security Forces Kill 19 TTP Terrorists in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: ISPR

Pakistan’s security forces successfully killed 19 TTP terrorists in three separate intelligence-based operations across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on September 9 and 10, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) confirmed.

According to the ISPR, the first operation took place in the Guluno area of Mohmand District. Acting on intelligence reports, security forces engaged a terrorist hideout, resulting in a fierce exchange of fire.

Fourteen TTP terrorists were killed in the encounter. The militants were described as Indian-sponsored Khwarij actively involved in terrorist activities in the region.

In a second operation in Datta Khel, North Waziristan District, security forces neutralized four more TTP terrorists. Officials confirmed that the operation was carried out based on actionable intelligence to prevent further threats in the area.

A third encounter occurred in Bannu District, where one terrorist was killed. Weapons and ammunition were recovered from all three locations, indicating planned militant operations in the region.

The ISPR added that sanitization operations are ongoing to ensure no remaining militants are present in the cleared areas. Authorities emphasized the importance of continued vigilance to maintain security in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

“Pakistan’s security forces remain determined to eradicate the menace of Indian-sponsored terrorism,” the ISPR statement said. “Operations will continue against TTP terrorists involved in destabilizing the region.”

These recent successes highlight Pakistan’s commitment to eliminating terrorism and securing its borders. Security officials reaffirmed their focus on intelligence-driven operations to dismantle militant networks and protect local communities.

The operations also demonstrate the effectiveness of coordinated efforts between ground troops and intelligence agencies in neutralizing TTP terrorists and preventing future attacks.
