Pakistan has officially launched its first women-only Software Technology Park in Bagh, Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK). The initiative marks a major step toward digital inclusion and gender empowerment in the region.
The project was developed by the Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB) in partnership with the Special Communications Organization AJK (SCO-AJK) and the Women’s University of AJK. The facility spans 5,000 square feet and aims to provide women with access to modern technology and resources.
The new Software Technology Park will serve as a hub for innovation and skill development. Women will be able to work on software projects, access training programs, and explore job opportunities in the technology sector.
