Celtic Fans Stage Silent Protest Against Club Board

Celtic

Celtic fans have launched a new wave of protests against the club’s board. The supporters are unhappy with how the club is being run. They believe transfer activity was poor, and the team’s Champions League exit has made things worse.

The protests include silent demonstrations inside the stadium. During home games, groups of Celtic fans plan to stay silent for a set number of minutes. The aim is to show frustration with the board while still supporting the team on the pitch.

The planned actions are set for matches against Hibernian, Braga, and Motherwell. For each game, the silence will last a different length of time. For example, twelve minutes for Hibernian, twenty-nine minutes for Braga, and thirty-two minutes for Motherwell. Fans say these numbers are symbolic and chosen to make a strong statement.

Celtic fans are also using banners and posters. Some display images of board members with crosses through them. Others carry messages calling for change at the top of the club. Supporters say the protests will continue until their voices are heard.

The main demands focus on accountability and investment. Supporters argue that the club’s financial strength should be matched by stronger spending on players. They also want clearer communication from the board about future plans.

So far, the board has not given a detailed response. Club leaders have said they are aware of fan concerns but insist that running the club requires balance between spending and stability. This explanation has not calmed the situation.

Celtic fans stress that their protest is not against the players or coaches. They continue to back the team on the field. The silence is aimed only at the boardroom, where they feel major decisions are being mishandled.

The situation could escalate further if dialogue does not begin soon. Supporters have promised more action if the club ignores them. For now, the silent protest is set to become a regular feature at Celtic Park.
