Class 2 Student Hung Upside Down After Being Assaulted for Not Doing Homework

PANIPAT – A disturbing case of child abuse has shocked Panipat after a Class 2 student from Sirjan Public School was brutally punished for not completing his homework.

According to reports, the school principal, Rina, allegedly instructed the school driver to discipline the child. The driver reportedly took the Class 2 student to an upstairs room, tied him with ropes, and suspended him upside down from a window. He then physically assaulted the boy.

The horrifying incident came to light after a video of the abuse surfaced on social media. The footage quickly spread online and alerted the child’s parents, who immediately confronted the school administration. When they arrived, the driver was missing, which led them to file a complaint at the Model Town police station.

Police confirmed that a case has been registered against the driver under Sections 115, 127(2), 351(2) BNS, and Section 75 of the Juvenile Justice Act, 2015. The school principal was also named in the case after another video showed her slapping a student.

In her defense, the principal claimed the punishment was given because the child allegedly misbehaved with two sisters. However, this explanation failed to calm public outrage.

Model Town SHO confirmed that the accused driver has been arrested and further investigation is underway. Authorities assured strict action against all individuals found guilty.

This shocking incident has sparked serious concerns about safety, discipline, and accountability in private schools. Parents and child rights activists have demanded stronger monitoring systems to protect children from such cruel treatment in educational institutions.

The case of this Class 2 student highlights the urgent need for reforms in school discipline policies and stricter laws against child abuse in schools.
