Pakistani actress and TV host Amina Malik has made an emotional revelation about her personal struggles, sharing that she suffered three devastating pregnancy losses before the birth of her younger daughter.
Speaking on Samaa TV’s morning show Subh Samaa Ka Sath with host Madeha Naqvi, Amina Malik described the painful period as “the most difficult time” of her life. She revealed that she experienced three consecutive pregnancy losses, including the stillbirths of babies at seven and five months, and another tragic loss in 2020.
The actress said she already had one daughter before those miscarriages. When her younger daughter was born after those losses, she decided not to try for more children. Amina shared how she faced emotional distress and unwanted social pressure from people urging her to have more children. Frustrated by such remarks, she stated firmly, “If anyone asks for more children now, I would slap them.”
During the interview, Amina Malik also spoke about her approach to parenting. She explained that she is strict about her daughters’ diet, preferring home-cooked meals over junk food. She discourages guests from ordering fast food like pizza and insists her children eat healthy, homemade food.
Beyond motherhood, Amina emphasized the importance of honesty and mental well-being. She said she cannot tolerate liars and values straightforward relationships. She urged people struggling with mental health to consult professionals rather than relying only on friends, warning that informal conversations can sometimes worsen emotional pain.
The actress further advised her colleagues to save money and invest wisely. She also encouraged producers to offer more roles to actresses who financially support their families. Amina revealed plans to step into the real estate business, though she did not share further details.
A well-known figure in Pakistan’s entertainment industry, Amina Malik has appeared in popular dramas such as Mera Dil Mera Dushman, Mayi Ri, Laapata, Khaas, Bebaak, Soteli Mamta, Deewar-e-Shab, and Ma Sadkey. She recently earned praise for her performance in ARY Digital’s hit series Sher.
