The government has launched a Free Electric Scooty Scheme exclusively for women, aiming to promote eco-friendly transportation and empower female commuters across the country. Under this initiative, eligible women will be provided with electric scooters either free of cost or at a subsidized rate.
According to officials, the scheme is designed to facilitate working women, students, and female healthcare workers who rely on daily transport. The government has also emphasized that this program will help reduce fuel expenses and air pollution, promoting a greener and more sustainable environment.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Applicants must be female citizens of Pakistan.
- Must possess a valid CNIC.
- Must hold a valid learner’s or permanent driving license.
- Preference will be given to working women, students, and those with low income.
Application Process:
Women interested in availing of the scheme can apply online through the government’s official transport portal. Applicants need to fill out the form, upload the required documents, and submit their application before the deadline. Shortlisted candidates will be contacted for verification and scooter distribution.
