TikTok has released its Community Guidelines Enforcement Report for the second quarter of 2025, highlighting its ongoing efforts to keep the platform safe for users. The report covers data from April to June 2025 and outlines how the company proactively identifies and removes content that violates its community standards.
During this period, TikTok removed 25,448,992 videos in Pakistan for breaching its guidelines. The platform achieved a 99.7% proactive removal rate, with 96.2% of the videos deleted within 24 hours of being uploaded. This reflects the platformโs strong monitoring system and focus on maintaining a positive digital experience for users in Pakistan.
Globally, TikTok removed 189 million videos, representing about 0.7% of all uploaded content. Out of these, 163.9 million were detected automatically through advanced technology, while around 7.4 million videos were later restored after review. The global proactive removal rate reached 99.1%, with 94.4% of videos removed within a day of posting.
The report also revealed that TikTok deleted 76.9 million fake accounts and 25.9 million suspected underage accounts belonging to users under 13. Most of the removed videos โ about 30.6% โ contained adult or sensitive material. Around 14% violated user safety standards, while 6.1% breached privacy and security rules.
In addition, 45% of the removed videos were flagged for misinformation, and 23.8% included AI-generated or heavily edited content. These figures highlight TikTokโs increased use of technology to detect and address emerging forms of policy violations.
