RAWALPINDI β A young man from Rawalpindi has filed a complaint alleging that a prison police officer from Multan sexually assaulted him, recorded the act, and then blackmailed him for thousands of rupees. The incident reportedly unfolded after the two connected on TikTok.
According to the victim, the accused, a jail employee stationed at Central Jail Nishter Multan, first befriended him online, expressing affection and sharing personal details, including a divorce. The officer allegedly sent multiple messages daily for six months and invited the young man to Multan, which he refused.
The victim, who works at a private company in Rawalpindi, stated that the officer later contacted him via WhatsApp, claiming he could arrange a temporary posting to Adiala Jail in Rawalpindi just to meet him. The officer allegedly demanded Rs 5,000 through EasyPaisa and later requested additional money, citing personal financial difficulties. Out of sympathy, the victim sent a total of Rs 10,000.
The situation escalated when the officer visited the victim in Rawalpindi, meeting him near Commercial Market for lunch and later suggesting a trip to Islamabad. During the trip, the officer allegedly gave the victim burgers laced with sedatives. The young man claims he lost consciousness and was raped while the act was recorded. The officer reportedly used the video to extort him, forcing him to pay a total of Rs 65,000.
Exhausted and distressed, the victim approached the New Town Police, who registered a case and have launched an investigation. Police officials confirmed that the alleged incident took place about four months ago and emphasized that the matter is under investigation.
The young man is seeking justice, the deletion of the recorded video, and the return of the money taken by the accused. This case has sparked concern in Rawalpindi, highlighting risks linked to online friendships and the misuse of power by law enforcement personnel.
