21 Children Injured in School Bus Accident Near Faisalabad Road Bypass

A tragic school bus accident occurred near Faisalabad Road Bypass on Tuesday morning when a speeding truck rammed into a bus carrying schoolchildren. The impact caused the bus to lose control and fall into Sem Nullah, injuring 21 students.

According to Rescue 1122 officials, emergency teams arrived at the scene shortly after receiving the call and began a swift rescue operation. Six children were treated on the spot with first aid, while 15 others were transferred to the District Headquarters (DHQ) Hospital in Sheikhupura for further medical care.

Hospital sources confirmed that all the injured children are now in stable condition and out of danger. Medical teams at the DHQ Hospital worked quickly to ensure the safety and recovery of the young patients.

Rescue and recovery efforts

Rescue officials also helped remove the damaged bus from the site to clear the area and prevent traffic disruption. Local authorities commended the prompt response of the rescue teams, whose timely actions minimized further harm.

Police officials have launched an investigation into the school bus accident to determine the cause and identify whether speeding or negligence was involved. Initial reports suggest that the truck driver fled the scene, and efforts are underway to trace him.
