Karachi to Host PIMEC 2025 Next Month | Complete Event Overview

Karachi is set to host the Pakistan International Maritime Expo & Conference (PIMEC) 2025 next month at the Karachi Expo Centre. The event will run from 3 to 6 November 2025 and will highlight Pakistan’s growing maritime potential and blue economy.

PIMEC 2025 is the second edition of the expo and is being organised with the support of the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and the Pakistan Navy. The objective of the event is to showcase maritime technology, port development initiatives and investment opportunities in Pakistan’s coastal and ocean industries.

Industry leaders, global investors, government officials, and maritime experts from more than 30 countries are expected to attend. Exhibitors will present naval systems, shipbuilding innovations, marine services, logistics and port equipment.

Alongside the exhibition, a high-level conference will also take place where experts will discuss crucial topics such as blue economy investment, shipping sustainability, port security, and maritime trade development. The conference aims to create new policies and strategies that can strengthen Pakistan’s role in regional maritime commerce.

Karachi, being the commercial and maritime hub of the country, has been chosen as the ideal host city due to its major ports, industrial zones and strong economic influence. Holding PIMEC in Karachi signifies Pakistan’s aim to improve its maritime infrastructure and increase its presence in global shipping routes.

Businesses, port authorities, researchers and start-ups are encouraged to participate. Organisers also advise early registration to take full advantage of networking sessions, B2B meetings and partnership opportunities available during the event.

PIMEC 2025 is expected to become a major gateway for maritime investment in Pakistan, offering new opportunities for trade expansion and economic development. Preparations are in full swing as Pakistan looks forward to welcoming international participants to this major maritime event in November.
