Pakistan Urges Focus on Palestinian Rehabilitation and Gaza Reconstruction

Pakistan Urges Focus on Palestinian Rehabilitation and Gaza Reconstruction

Pakistan has reiterated its call for the international community to prioritize Palestinian rehabilitation and Gaza reconstruction, emphasizing the urgent need for humanitarian aid and long-term rebuilding efforts in the war-torn region.

In a statement issued by the Foreign Office, Pakistan expressed deep concern over the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Gaza, where thousands of civilians continue to suffer due to widespread destruction and displacement. The government underscored that rebuilding Gaza’s infrastructure and ensuring the welfare of its residents should be a top priority for the global community.

The spokesperson noted that Pakistan supports all diplomatic initiatives aimed at achieving a permanent ceasefire and sustainable peace in the Middle East. Islamabad urged world leaders to channel resources toward Palestinian rehabilitation and Gaza reconstruction, rather than focusing solely on temporary relief measures.

Pakistan’s statement also highlighted the importance of upholding international law and protecting civilian lives, stressing that reconstruction efforts must go hand in hand with accountability for violations of human rights and international norms.

The government reaffirmed its unwavering support for the Palestinian cause, calling for the establishment of an independent State of Palestine with pre-1967 borders and Al-Quds Al-Sharif as its capital. Officials further announced that Pakistan will continue providing humanitarian assistance and advocating for Gaza’s recovery through international platforms such as the United Nations and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC).

Diplomatic observers view Pakistan’s stance as part of a broader push among Muslim nations to mobilize global support for the rebuilding of Gaza and the rehabilitation of displaced Palestinian families.

By urging a collective global effort, Pakistan aims to ensure that the people of Gaza can rebuild their homes, restore essential services, and regain stability after years of conflict.
