DUBAI: Crown Prince Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum has announced several major projects at the UAEβs annual government meeting, aimed at transforming Dubai into one of the worldβs most beautiful, livable, and healthy cities.
According to Arab media reports, these new initiatives are designed to boost economic development and create 15,000 new job opportunities across various sectors. Sheikh Hamdan emphasized that these projects reflect Dubaiβs commitment to innovation, sustainability, and inclusive growth.
Among the approved plans are the development of modern yet affordable private schools, new public parks, an aviation talent program, and an early cancer detection system. The initiatives also include the establishment of a Financial Restructuring and Insolvency Court, which will assist businesses in managing debt and restructuring finances.
The Crown Prince stated that these efforts are part of a broader strategy to double Dubaiβs economy and create job opportunities for 65,000 Emirati citizens in the private sector. The projects will also focus on enhancing quality of life through education, healthcare, and environmental development.
In addition, the Dubai Sports Councilβs Sports Sector Strategic Plan 2033 was approved during the meeting. This plan includes 19 programs and 75 initiatives covering 17 key sports, with a focus on empowering youth and people of determination. It aims to position Dubai as a leading global sports hub.
The newly established Financial Restructuring and Insolvency Court will further strengthen Dubaiβs business environment by promoting transparency, supporting corporate growth, and protecting investors. Officials believe this will help the city rank among the worldβs top three financial centers.

Sheikh Hamdan concluded that these projects are central to Dubaiβs vision of ensuring every citizen enjoys equal access to progress, stability, and prosperity β while also expanding job opportunities for future generations.
