National Assembly Speaker Ayaz Sadiq has once again extended an offer of dialogue to the opposition, emphasizing that political stability can only be achieved through meaningful engagement and cooperation among all parties.
Speaking to reporters on Friday, Ayaz Sadiq said that Parliament provides the best platform for resolving national issues and that both the government and opposition must come together in the larger interest of the country. He urged political leaders to set aside differences and engage in constructive talks rather than confrontation.
The NA Speaker reiterated his offer of dialogue as part of his ongoing efforts to promote reconciliation and strengthen democratic institutions. He noted that Pakistan is facing multiple challenges โ including economic pressures, inflation, and security concerns โ which require a unified national approach.
Sadiq stressed that political boycotts or refusals to communicate only deepen divisions and harm public trust. โThe door for talks is open. Dialogue is the only democratic way forward,โ he stated.
He also highlighted that recent efforts to reach consensus on constitutional and legislative matters have shown progress, but more cooperation is needed from all sides.
Political observers see Ayaz Sadiqโs latest appeal as an important step toward de-escalating tensions between the treasury and opposition benches. His message aligns with growing calls from civil society for a stable and collaborative political environment.
With the NA Speaker Ayaz Sadiq reiterating the offer of dialogue, attention now turns to whether the opposition will respond positively and join the government at the negotiation table in the coming days.
