27th Constitutional Amendment to Boost Governance, Defence, and Justice: Attaullah

Islamabad โ€“ Federal Minister Attaullah Khan has said the 27th Constitutional Amendment will strengthen governance, defence, and the justice system across Pakistan. He made the remarks during a parliamentary session on Tuesday.

Attaullah emphasized that the amendment is a step toward modernizing administrative structures and ensuring better coordination between federal and provincial authorities. He added that it will also enhance institutional efficiency in key sectors, including defence and judiciary.

โ€œThe 27th Constitutional Amendment is designed to improve governance, defence, and justice delivery,โ€ Attaullah said. โ€œIt reflects the governmentโ€™s commitment to reforms that benefit the nation as a whole.โ€

Lawmakers highlighted that the amendmentโ€™s clauses address administrative gaps, provide legal clarity, and promote accountability at all levels of government. Experts believe it could lead to faster decision-making and improved service delivery in public institutions.

Attaullah further noted that the amendment aligns with international best practices, ensuring that Pakistanโ€™s governance and legal frameworks meet contemporary challenges. Public observers welcomed the move, considering it a positive step for national development and security.

The minister concluded that with the amendment in place, Pakistan is better positioned to implement reforms that strengthen governance, safeguard defence interests, and ensure timely justice for citizens.
