Islamabad – Prime Minister (PM) has praised the unity and cooperation displayed in Parliament after the National Assembly passed the 27th Constitutional Amendment bill. Lawmakers from various parties supported the legislation, highlighting a rare moment of consensus.
The PM said the approval reflects the commitment of all political forces to strengthen governance, improve administrative efficiency, and enhance the justice system. He emphasized that such unity is crucial for national development.
“The passage of the 27th Amendment demonstrates that when leaders prioritize the country, progress becomes possible,” the PM added. The bill now moves to the Senate for further consideration before it becomes part of the Constitution.
Parliamentary leaders welcomed the bill, noting that it addresses key structural and administrative reforms. Analysts believe the amendment will enhance coordination between federal and provincial institutions and streamline governance processes.
The Prime Minister also highlighted that collaborative efforts in Parliament set a positive example for future legislative initiatives and political discourse.
