Punjab Orders Freezing of Banned TLP’s Properties and Assets

The Punjab government has issued orders to freeze the properties and assets of the banned Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan (TLP), citing violations of national law and security concerns.

Officials said the move targets all movable and immovable assets owned by the TLP, including bank accounts, real estate, and business holdings. The decision comes as part of the government’s broader crackdown on banned organizations to prevent their use of funds for unlawful activities.

Authorities emphasized that the action is being taken under existing anti-terrorism and security regulations, aiming to curb the influence of extremist groups in the province. Law enforcement agencies have been instructed to identify and secure all relevant properties immediately.

Punjab officials also urged the public to cooperate with authorities and report any information regarding TLP assets to ensure effective implementation of the orders. The move reflects the government’s ongoing commitment to maintaining law and order while safeguarding public safety.
