Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi strongly condemned recent terror attacks, stating that terrorists are “beasts” and no religion in the world permits targeting innocent children. His remarks came during a media briefing on the security situation in the country.
Naqvi said that the government is taking strict measures to counter terrorism, and security forces are working around the clock to prevent further incidents. He added that those involved in attacks on educational institutions and public places “have no link with humanity or any faith.”
The minister stressed that terror groups acting from across the border were responsible for multiple recent attacks. He said intelligence agencies are tracking their networks and the state will not tolerate any assault on children or civilians.
Naqvi also noted that Pakistan has strengthened coordination between federal and provincial law enforcement agencies. He said the government is committed to ensuring the safety of students, teachers, and the general public.
Calling terrorism a threat to peace and stability, Naqvi said the nation stands united against violent groups. “The entire country condemns these cowardly acts. We will not allow terrorists to succeed in their agenda,” he added.
