LAHORE – Pakistani YouTuber and social media influencer Rajab Butt is once again facing backlash after a controversial live session with fellow influencer Samiya Hijab went viral. The session, streamed on TikTok, sparked outrage over the inappropriate nature of their conversation.
Rajab Butt, who has been residing in the UK due to multiple legal cases filed against him in Pakistan, has continued creating content online from abroad. Samiya Hijab, now based in Dubai, rose to fame after filing an abduction case against her ex-fiancé, which later ended in an out-of-court settlement. Despite public criticism, she continues to post bold content online.
During the live session, Rajab Butt made lewd remarks about Samiya’s body, praising her shape and calling it beautiful. Samiya responded casually, joking about her belly and mentioning her frequent use of tight clothing. Rajab replied by stating that viewers were more focused on the rest of her body rather than her belly.
The clip quickly spread across social media, attracting widespread criticism. Many viewers described the conversation as “inappropriate,” “unethical,” and “cheap.” Users condemned Rajab Butt for making disrespectful comments about a woman’s body, with some pointing out that his behavior was insensitive toward his wife.
One social media user wrote, “These are shameless people, making disgusting comments about a woman’s body.” Another commented, “He doesn’t care about his wife, he’s just enjoying here,” highlighting public disapproval of Rajab’s actions.
Experts in online content ethics noted that this incident reflects growing concerns over influencers pushing boundaries for attention. They stressed the need for responsible content creation, warning that such behavior could damage reputations and influence young audiences negatively.
