A disturbing case of beating student was reported in the Millat Park area of Lahore, where a 10-year-old boy was allegedly assaulted by his teacher for not remembering his lesson. The victim, identified as Ayaan Shahroz, returned home with visible injuries and informed his grandmother about the incident.
According to the FIR, the teacher used a plastic pipe to punish the child. The document states that the assault left marks on Ayaanโs stomach and other parts of his body. The grandmother immediately approached the local police station and filed a complaint regarding the beating student incident.
Police responded quickly after receiving the complaint. DIG Operations Faisal Kamran took notice and ordered the immediate arrest of the accused teacher.
Acting on these instructions, officials detained the suspect within hours. Kamran emphasized that the Punjab government has issued strict directions regarding the safety of children and women. He stated that both groups fall under a โred lineโ category, and any crime committed against them will be met with zero tolerance.
The incident has sparked concern among parents in the area, who say cases involving beating student reports continue to highlight the need for stronger oversight in educational institutions. Child rights activists have also expressed worry, urging authorities to enforce stricter monitoring systems to prevent such incidents in the future.
