Bollywood icon Amitabh Bachchan recently bid an emotional adieu in the concluding episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati’s 15th season, reported by India Today. However, Bachchan’s sentimental farewell speech left fans puzzled, sparking speculation about whether he was ending the current season or retiring from the show.

With teary eyes, Bachchan concluded the ongoing season, stating, “Ladies and gentlemen, now it’s time to go as the stage won’t be the same. It’s difficult to let everyone know that we won’t be returning here from tomorrow.” He added, “For the last time, I am bidding you all goodbye from this show, goodnight.”

While uncertainty lingers about Bachchan’s permanent departure, fans remain hopeful for his return in the next season. The 15th season’s finale featured Sara Ali Khan, Vidya Balan, and Sharmila Tagore as special guests. Bachchan has been the show’s host for 14 years, interrupted only by Shah Rukh Khan in season 3 before Bachchan resumed as the presenter.

In a previous blog post earlier this year, Bachchan candidly addressed the challenges faced by creative individuals. He passionately highlighted the misconceptions and criticisms endured by the creative community, expressing his frustration at being perceived as an easy target without a full understanding of their struggles.

Reflecting on these challenges, Bachchan lamented, “Most of the time created by someone else, who believes that you should be the person that shall justify it. Misery.” He emphasized the lack of understanding about the hardships of creative work and the unjust assumptions made about their performance.

He concluded by acknowledging the fear and multiple facets of challenges faced by creatives, urging to focus on creativity despite these hindrances.
