A confrontation ensued between security forces and terrorists, resulting in the demise of three attackers. In the midst of the exchange, two officials from the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) sustained injuries due to the terrorists’ gunfire. These wounded officials were promptly transported to a nearby medical facility for necessary medical attention.

The CTD spokesperson also disclosed that the eliminated assailants were affiliated with a proscribed organization. Alongside their neutralization, a significant cache of weapons and assorted materials was seized from their possession.

The operation unfolded in the Murgha Kibzai locality of the Zhob district. The CTD spokesperson emphasized that the mission was launched based on a tip-off regarding the presence of these terrorists in the specified area.
