QUETTA – The Balochistan Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BBISE) announced the results of the annual Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examinations on Monday.
During a press conference at the board office, BBISE Controller Abida Kakar and Secretary Muhammad Azeem Sajdi disclosed that a total of 143,849 students appeared for the 2024 exams. Among them, 121,362 students successfully passed, achieving a commendable success rate of 84.36%.

In the ninth grade, out of 67,800 students, 50,558 passed, while in the tenth grade, 70,804 out of 76,049 students were declared successful.
This year’s tenth-grade examination witnessed a remarkable passing rate of 93.10%, reflecting the students’ dedication and the quality of education provided. The ninth-grade success rate stood at 74%.
Position holders in the BBISE Matric Exams 2024 included Rasad Khan from Balochistan Residential College Loralai securing first place, followed by Zainullah Khan in second place. Abdul Rehman, Syed Abdul Aleem, and Shehzad Khan from Cadet College Kohlu shared the third position.
Board officials extended congratulations to the successful students, emphasizing their role in bringing honor to Balochistan and Pakistan through their achievements.
