Bashir Memon, the former Director General (DG) of the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), has officially joined the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N). This move comes as part of political developments, with Memon aligning himself with the party.
PML-N’s chief organizer, Maryam Nawaz, has taken steps to bolster the party’s presence and activities in Sindh. In line with this objective, a 12-member committee has been formed to welcome former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on his upcoming visit to the region.
As per the official notification issued by the PML-N, Bashir Memon has been appointed as the convener of this committee. The committee also includes prominent figures such as Muhammad Zubair, Khildas Kohistani, and Nihal Hashmi.
The primary task of this committee, as outlined in the notification, is to ensure the active participation of party workers in the reception and events planned for Nawaz Sharif’s visit to Sindh, scheduled for October 21.
