Gold Price in Pakistan Drops to Rs. 208,450 Per Tola

The price of gold in Pakistan fell for the second consecutive day on Wednesday to close at Rs. 208,450 per tola.

According to the data released by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association (APGJA), the price of gold (24 carats) fell by Rs. 750 per tola to Rs. 208,450 while the price of 10 grams rose by Rs. 643 to Rs. 178,712.

The price of gold registered an increase of Rs. 1,250 per tola on the opening day of the week before falling by Rs. 400 per tola on Tuesday. Today’s decline means that, cumulatively, the price of gold has risen by Rs. 100 per tola.

In the international market, spot gold rose 0.3 percent at $1,976.19 per ounce by 1207 GMT, while the US gold futures gained 0.1 percent to $1,987.30.
