Gold prices in Pakistan have experienced a slight decline

On Tuesday, the price of gold in Pakistan experienced a decline of Rs. 500 per tola following a previous gain of Rs. 800 per tola. According to data released by the Karachi Sarafa Association, the price of gold (24 carats) dropped to Rs. 240,300 per tola, representing a decrease, while the price of 10 grams decreased by Rs. 429 to reach Rs. 206,018.

Despite the decrease in gold prices, the price of silver remained unchanged, with the rate per tola remaining at Rs. 2,800 and the price per 10 grams remaining consistent at Rs. 2,400.54. Last week, the Sarafa Association had maintained the price of gold below cost by Rs. 4,000. However, with international prices declining last week, the association has now discontinued this discount.
