Rawalpindi has officially declared a ‘Dengue Emergency’ in response to a sharp increase in cases, reporting six deaths and 2,277 infections over the past month and a half. The alarming rise in dengue cases has prompted urgent health measures to combat the outbreak.
In the last 24 hours alone, 134 new dengue cases were recorded, leading to a total of 268 patients currently requiring treatment. Health authorities are mobilizing resources to address the growing crisis, with mobile health units having examined 4,109 patients in the area.
