A tragic incident occurred on Thursday when a small plane crashed in the waters off Bequia, a small island in St. Vincent and the Grenadines, resulting in the deaths of a Hollywood actor, his two daughters, and the pilot. The single-engine aircraft had taken off from J.F. Mitchell Airport en route to St. Lucia when it encountered difficulties shortly after noon.

The victims were identified as Hollywood actor Christian Klepser, known professionally as Oliver, along with his daughters, 10-year-old Madita Klepser and 12-year-old Annik Klepser. The pilot, Robert Sachs, also lost his life in the crash.

According to a statement from the Royal St. Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force, the aircraft plummeted into the ocean moments after takeoff. The cause of the crash is not immediately clear, prompting an investigation by the authorities.

Fishermen and divers in Bequia, along with the St. Vincent and Grenadines Coast Guard, collaborated in retrieving the bodies from the crash site west of Petit Nevis off the coast of Bequia.

Oliver, born in Germany, began his acting career with notable roles in television series such as “Saved by the Bell: The New Class,” and later starred in shows like “Hunters,” “The Outpost,” and “Sense8.” His film credits include “Rattlesnakes,” “Animal Among Us,” “Valkyrie,” and “The Good German.” Additionally, he contributed to video games like “Medal of Honor: Underground” and “Call of Duty: WWII.”

Beyond acting, Oliver was involved in producing and writing. He served as a producer on projects like the 2009 comedy “Ready or Not,” the 2018 horror-adventure “The Outer Wild,” and the 2020 miniseries “Abe.” Tragically, his promising career was cut short by this devastating plane crash.
