India defeats Pakistan 4-0 in Asian Champions Trophy hockey

India maintained their unbeaten streak in the Asian Champions Trophy hockey tournament with a convincing 4-0 win over Pakistan. Despite already securing a spot in the semifinals, India displayed confidence and control throughout the match. Captain Harmanpreet Singh was instrumental, scoring twice from penalty corners as Pakistan struggled to catch up.

Harmanpreet’s first goal came at the close of the opening quarter, a powerful low flick to the left of Pakistan’s goalkeeper Akmal Hussain. In the 23rd minute, he capitalized again with a fierce drag-flick that found its way between Akmal’s legs.

India’s victory showcased their dominance and secured their position as a strong contender in the tournament.
