Karachi Shivers in Coldest Night of the Winter Season

Karachi, the business hub of Pakistan and the capital of Sindh, experienced an unusual drop in temperatures, falling below 14°C to 13.5°C.

The Meteorological Office confirmed these temperatures and predicted a further decrease to 12°C over the weekend.

In other parts of Sindh, Mithi recorded the lowest temperature at 6.5°C, followed by Mohenjo Daro (7°C), Sukkur (8°C), and Shaheed Benazirabad district (9.5°C).

The Met department forecasts dry weather in Karachi for the next two days with the likelihood of light fog during early morning hours. The city will experience winds from the northeast during the day and from the southwest in the evening. The overall weather in Sindh is expected to remain dry and cold in most areas.
