Bollywood star Kareena Kapoor Khan is set to make her debut in the world of OTT with the upcoming film “Jaane Jaan.” In a recent interview, the actress opened up about her marriage to Saif Ali Khan, addressing various aspects of their relationship, including the age difference and their different faiths.
Kareena responded to trolls with humor and confidence, stating, “When has age ever mattered? He is hotter than ever. I am happy I am 10 years younger; he should be worried. No one would say he has turned 53. Age does not matter; what matters is respect and love and the fact that we have fun with each other.” Her statement highlights the love and companionship that have been the foundation of their enduring relationship.
She also addressed the topic of their different faiths, emphasizing that society often places undue focus on these differences. Kareena emphasized, “The important thing is to have fun. The most important thing between Saif and I is that we like each other and enjoy our company. How should it matter what faith he follows or what his age is that isn’t even a point of discussion.” Her words underline the significance of mutual respect and understanding in any partnership.
Kareena and Saif’s wedding in October 2012 was a celebrated event in Bollywood. Saif had previously been married to actor Amrita Singh, with whom he shares two children, Sara Ali Khan and Ibrahim Ali Khan. Meanwhile, the Bollywood sweethearts are proud parents to two sons, Taimur Ali Khan (born in 2016) and Jehangir Ali Khan (born in 2021).
“Jaane Jaan” is an adaptation of the Japanese novel “Devotion of Suspect X” and is scheduled to be released on Netflix on September 21. Kareena also has other exciting projects in the pipeline, promising an eventful year ahead for the versatile actress.
Her costar, Vijay Varma, praised Kareena’s work and performance in the film, describing it as “inspiring.”
