Bollywood actor Arjun Kapoor and producer Jackky Bhagnani sustained injuries during a ceiling collapse on the set of their upcoming film Mere Husband Ki Biwi.
The accident occurred while filming a song sequence at Mumbai’s Imperial Palace, Royal Palms. Vibrations from the sound system reportedly caused the ceiling to collapse, injuring several crew members. Arjun Kapoor suffered minor injuries, while others, including the DOP and a camera attendant, faced more serious harm.

Choreographer Vijay Ganguly described the moment as terrifying, emphasizing the need for improved safety measures at older shooting locations. The Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) has urged authorities to enforce stricter on-set safety protocols.
Despite the incident, the production team remains committed to the film’s February 21 release.
