Barry Keoghan Reacts to Sabrina Carpenter’s Bratz Photo Amid Split Rumors

Barry Keoghan has seemingly addressed rumors about his relationship with Sabrina Carpenter by responding to speculation about their possible split.

The rumors began on August 16 when celebrity gossip platform DeuxMoi shared an anonymous tip suggesting that Keoghan and Carpenter had broken up. The post on DeuxMoi’s Instagram account simply read: “Sabrina and Barry broke up.”

Adding to the speculation, The Sun reported that the couple had indeed separated, citing alleged issues related to Keoghan’s partying lifestyle. A source told the publication, “Barry acts like an idiot when he is drunk, and Sabrina was growing increasingly frustrated.” The source also claimed, “He has always been a party animal, and Sabrina was fed up with his behavior. She’s focusing on her music career and preparing for her tour next month.”

Despite these reports, Keoghan appeared to dismiss the breakup rumors with a playful Instagram comment on Wednesday morning. Under a photo featuring Bratz dolls, reminiscent of a scene from Sabrina’s latest music video for her song “Taste,” in which she stars alongside Jenna Ortega, Keoghan commented, “Can I have one?” Fans interpreted this comment as a subtle hint about his relationship with the American singer.

Earlier in August, Sabrina praised Keoghan during an interview with The Guardian, reflecting positively on their collaboration in her “Please, Please, Please” music video. She described the experience as “one of the best I’ve ever had, I’m very honored, and I got to work with such a great actor!” Sabrina also joked about her own “coy diplomacy,” emphasizing Keoghan’s acting talent with a playful tone.

Sabrina acknowledged the challenges of having her personal life scrutinized but expressed a desire to stay authentic in her music, saying, “I want to be honest – I want to write about what’s happening in my life as a 25-year-old woman. But it comes with the territory, and I just have to be like…OK.”
