After saving for 10 years, Japanese music producer Honkon finally bought his dream Ferrari 458 Spider — only to watch it catch fire within an hour on Tokyo’s Shuto Expressway.

Honkon shared a heartbreaking photo on social media, saying he spent 43 million yen ($306,000) for just one photo of his burning car. Authorities found no signs of collision, and the cause is believed to be engine-related.
Despite the devastating loss, Honkon expressed relief that he escaped safely, telling fans, “I’m just glad to be alive.”
