Varun Dhawan’s much-awaited film Baby John has made an impressive debut at the box office, earning approximately INR 13.5 crore on its first day of release. Directed by Kalees and adapted from Atlee’s 2016 Tamil blockbuster Theri, the film features Keerthy Suresh, Wamiqa Gabbi, and Jackie Shroff in pivotal roles.

Despite facing tough competition from Pushpa 2, Baby John has performed well, considering the fractured release window. With the Christmas holiday period extending, the film has the potential to hit the INR 100 crore mark, depending on its performance in the coming days, especially if it manages to maintain strong numbers in its second day with a target of INR 7.5 crore or more.
