Mohammad Hafeez Gets Help From Zaka Ashraf in PCB

Mohammad Hafeez has been offered the position of chief selector for the national team by the newly established temporary Management Committee.

According to media sources, Zaka Ashraf, Chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), met with the former player on Thursday to discuss the offer.

However, it has been claimed that the cricketer-turned-analyst has declined the offer and has asked for more time to think about it due to other commitments.

During their encounter, the veteran all-rounder congratulated Ashraf on his appointment as PCB president and praised his passion to the sport.

“Zaka Ashraf is a capable administrator who I admire.” “I will definitely consider a favourable offer to serve Pakistan cricket,” Mohammad Hafeez declared.

According to reports, the present chief selector, Haroon Rashid, would be relieved of his duties in the near future following the hiring of new management.

Other players rumoured to be offered posts within the PCB include Younis Khan, Mohsin Khan, Saleem Yousuf, and Shoaib Akhtar, in addition to Hafeez.

It is worth noting that the federal government officially selected Ashraf as the chairman of the newly constituted management committee earlier this week.
