The Afghan team had set a target of 301 runs during their innings, driven by outstanding batting performances from Rahmanullah Gurbaz and Ibrahim Zadran.

Pakistan initiated their response with a solid 52-run opening partnership, followed by an impressive 118-run partnership for the second wicket. Although momentum wavered in the middle, vice-captain Shadab Khan’s outstanding innings of 48 runs from 35 balls and Naseem Shah’s crucial contribution of 10 runs from five balls secured the dramatic victory.
