“Oppenheimer,” directed by Christopher Nolan, has been on a winning streak, collecting accolades from various prestigious awards ceremonies including the Golden Globes and the British Academy Film Awards. With the Producers Guild of America awards also on the horizon, the film’s momentum seems unstoppable.

In other notable wins, Lily Gladstone was awarded Best Actress for her role in “Killers of the Flower Moon,” portraying a member of the Osage Native American community grappling with a series of murders. Da’Vine Joy Randolph clinched the Best Supporting Actress award for her performance in “The Holdovers,” portraying a grieving mother.

The SAG Awards, which streamed live on Netflix for the first time, marked a significant moment for the industry, reflecting the company’s efforts to expand its live programming. The ceremony also served as a reunion for actors following a four-month strike against Hollywood studios last year, emphasizing the resilience of the community amidst challenges.

In television categories, “The Bear” and “Succession” emerged as winners, with actors Jeremy Allen White, Ayo Edebiri, Elizabeth Debicki, and Pedro Pascal also receiving accolades for their outstanding performances.

The event concluded with a lifetime achievement honor bestowed upon Barbra Streisand, celebrating her remarkable contributions as an actor, producer, director, singer, and writer.
