Bushra Bibi Wanted Bloodshed, Ran Away Over Fear of Arrest: Tarar

Bushra Bibi

Federal Information Minister Ataullah Tarar accused Bushra Bibi, wife of PTI founder Imran Khan, of intending to provoke violence during recent protests. Tarar claimed that PTI leaders fled the scene fearing arrest and criticized the party for spreading baseless casualty claims. He stated that while protesters used weapons like Kalashnikovs and grenades, there was no evidence of fatalities, as confirmed by hospitals.

Tarar also alleged that PTI was attempting to disrupt Pakistan’s national stability and tarnish its international image. He pointed out that the party had made calculated efforts to cancel the visit of Belarus’s president. The minister further accused PTI of being dependent on external support, citing their earlier 126-day sit-in, which he claimed succeeded due to establishment backing.

Tarar ended by asserting that PTI’s protests, strategies, and rhetoric had failed, and the public had rejected their actions, describing the party’s movement as based on lies, hypocrisy, and violence.

PTI’s ‘Final Call’ Still on: CM Gandapur in Mansehra

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur declared on Wednesday that the PTI protest was ongoing and would only end upon Imran Khan’s instructions. He referred to the protest as part of a broader movement for Pakistan’s future, stressing that the party’s commitment to peace had been met with violence from the government. CM Gandapur accused the government of oppressing PTI supporters through illegal detentions and violent crackdowns.

He emphasized that despite the government’s efforts to thwart peaceful demonstrations, PTI would continue their protest until Imran Khan decided otherwise. CM Gandapur praised PTI workers for their sacrifices and pledged that the movement would persist, with peaceful resistance against government violence. He concluded by stating that PTI’s struggle was not only for political gain but for securing the future and basic freedoms of Pakistan’s citizens.
