In related news, the government has announced a reduction in Hajj airfare for 2025, lowering ticket prices by Rs 14,000. Pilgrims enrolled in the federal program will now pay Rs 220,000 for their tickets, down from Rs 234,000 last year. This price cut was made possible through agreements with Pakistan International Airlines (PIA), Saudi Airlines, and private carriers, providing financial relief to pilgrims.
