According to media sources on Monday, a paedophile serial rapist who is accused of sexually abusing multiple young boys and girls, surreptitiously recording the abuse, and blackmailing the victims has been taken into custody by the Lyallpur division of the Crime Control Department (CCD) in Faisalabad.
The suspect, who goes by “M,” is a refrigerator mechanic who resides on Satiana Road in the Kot Khan Muhammad neighbourhood. He allegedly used covert cameras to record the crimes and raped minors at gunpoint, according to the police.
Along with other offensive content, authorities found over two dozen pornographic videos of youngsters between the ages of eight and twelve on his cell phones.
According to police, the perpetrator escaped to Multan after being caught raping a minor almost a year ago. Later, he allegedly went back to Faisalabad and sexually assaulted an eight-year-old girl once more while filming the incident.
The accused had also reportedly electrocuted a 10-year-old boy named Shoaib after assaulting him several years ago.
The CCD has now arrested the suspect following a tip-off and continues to investigate the case.
