Shamsabad experienced the most significant rainfall at 48mm, followed by Saidpur with 19mm, Kutchehry with 5mm, and Golra with 3mm. The ongoing rainfall has led to a marked reduction in heat, with forecasts suggesting that rain will likely continue throughout the day.
In the capital, heavy rain has been observed in sectors like G-7, Blue Area, Aabpara, and Zero Point, with additional showers in Bari Imam, Embassy Road, Rawal Dam, and Bhara Kahu. The weather has become pleasant, offering a welcome relief from the heat.

Punjab
Lahore has seen heavy rainfall across various areas, leading to localized flooding. Gulshan-e-Ravi recorded the highest rainfall at 45mm, with significant precipitation also reported in Gulberg, Lakshmi Chowk, Tajpura, and Mughalpura. Rainfall data includes 25mm in Qartaba Chowk, 22mm in Pani Wala Talab, 21mm in Lakshmi Chowk, 12mm in Iqbal Town, 10mm in both Samanabad and Farrukhabad, 8mm on Jail Road, 7mm in Mughalpura, 6mm on Upper Mall, and 5mm in Gulberg.
In Gujrat, heavy rain submerged main highways and streets, causing water to enter homes. Rescue 1122 teams are assisting residents, but the absence of district administration and ineffective flood relief camps have worsened the situation.
Pindi Bhattian also faced water accumulation in low-lying areas and power outages. Jhelum experienced power supply issues and flooding in areas like Bilal Town, Muhammadi Chowk, and Civil Line Road, though showers have made the weather pleasant. Wazirabad saw heavy rain with thunder, causing power outages due to tripped feeders, while Sialkot had intermittent rain leading to pleasant weather.
The Met Office predicts more rain in Murree, Galiyat, Attock, Chakwal, Jhelum, Sialkot, Narowal, Mandi Bahauddin, Lahore, Gujrat, Gujranwala, Hafizabad, Faisalabad, Toba Tek Singh, Sargodha, Khushab, Sheikhupura, and Sahiwal.
Balochistan and Sindh
Rainfall is anticipated today in several locations, including Quetta, Ziarat, Khuzdar, Zhob, and Musakhel. Karachi, Thatta, Umarkot, Tharparkar, Mirpur Khas, and Dadu are also expected to experience rain, which will bring cooler temperatures and relief from the heat.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Kashmir
Rain is also forecasted for Dir, Chitral, Swat, Kohistan, Mansehra, Abbottabad, Buner, Malakand, Bajaur, Mardan, Nowshera, Swabi, Haripur, Peshawar, Kurram, Kohat, Bannu, Waziristan, and Dera Ismail Khan.
In Azad Kashmir, heavy rainfall has made the weather more pleasant in several regions. Muzaffarabad saw rain in Leepa Valley, Jhelum, and Neelum Valley, with the Met Department predicting further rain for Muzaffarabad. Bhimber has experienced continuous rain since night, impacting areas like Samahni and Barnala, causing power outages and water intrusion in Barnala Bazar.
