Imran Khan, Bushra Bibi sent to Jail on 14-day judicial Remand in new Toshakhana case

In Rawalpindi, an accountability court has placed PTI founder Imran Khan and his wife, Bushra Bibi, under a 14-day judicial remand in relation to the latest Toshakhana case. During the court session held at Adiala Jail, the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) did not request an extension of the physical remand for the accused. Instead, Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi provided written responses to NAB’s questions.

The couple appeared in court after completing an 11-day physical remand. Their legal representation, Barrister Salman Safdar, was present during the proceedings, while NAB’s Prosecutor General, Sardar Muzaffar Abbasi, was accompanied by his team. Judge Nasir Javed Rana of the accountability court oversaw the hearing and scheduled the next court appearance for September 2.
