The recent suicide bombing in the Bajaur district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has elicited strong condemnation from nations worldwide. Notably, the United States (US), Saudi Arabia, and Iran have expressed their heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims who lost their lives in the tragic incident.

The US embassy issued a condolence statement denouncing the heinous act of terrorism. The US spokesman emphasized that such violence has no place in a peaceful and democratic society. The US stands in solidarity with the people of Pakistan during these difficult times and remains committed to supporting Islamabad in its fight against terrorism.
Similarly, both Saudi Arabia and Iran joined forces in condemning the attack on the JUI-F rally in Bajaur. In their respective statements, the two countries reiterated their stance against all forms of terrorism and pledged unwavering support to the people and government of Pakistan. They also prayed for the swift recovery of the injured victims.
The Bajaur blast resulted in a devastating toll, with at least 42 lives lost and over 111 individuals injured. The incident occurred during the Workers’ Convention of JUI-F in Khar tehsil. In response to the emergency, the Pakistan Army deployed three helicopters as part of the rescue mission, with 10 critically wounded individuals being transported to Peshawar’s Lady Reading Hospital.
The leader of JUI-F, Maulana Fazlur Rehman, expressed deep sorrow over the tragic bombing and called for a high-level inquiry to be conducted by the Prime Minister and caretaker Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
