Rawalpindi Police Bust Organ Transplant Gang Involved in Illegal Operations

Rawalpindi police have recently arrested a gang involved in the illegal transplantation of human organs, according to authorities on Saturday.

This major bust came after an emergency call was received by the Airport police station, reporting screams from a private residence in the city.

When police arrived at the scene, they discovered a man tied to a stretcher inside the house. The victim was quickly rescued and told police that he had been tricked into a fake job offer.

After accepting the offer, he was drugged, leaving him semi-conscious while various medical tests were performed on him. These tests, police say, were meant to prepare the man for an illegal kidney transplant.

At the location, police found surgical equipment typically used in organ transplants, confirming the operation’s criminal nature. Four suspects were arrested, and authorities are now investigating the full extent of their illegal activities.

The gang is believed to have been involved in the sale of kidneys taken from both Pakistani citizens and foreign nationals.

Authorities are working tirelessly to track down and arrest other members of the organ transplant gang. A spokesperson for Rawalpindi Police assured the public that further arrests would be made as the investigation progresses.

The police have pledged to bring all those involved in this illegal organ trade to justice. This case highlights the ongoing issue of human trafficking and illegal organ sales in the region.
