The exemplary police force of the capital has become involved in crime and is now accepting bribes. Following the viral video of an ASI at Noun Police Station taking a bribe from a citizen, he has been suspended.
According to sources, ASI Raza from Noun Police Station collected a bribe from a citizen, who was arrested due to being Pashto-speaking, and intimidated into giving money.

DIG Islamabad Syed Ali Raza took notice of the incident, immediately suspending the ASI and ordering the SP of the Industrial Area to investigate and submit a report on the matter.
If the ASI is found guilty during the inquiry, he will face severe departmental action.
The DIG stated that the Islamabad police strictly adhere to accountability processes, and any officer who abuses their authority will face both departmental and legal consequences.
